Wow Olivia! What a great website. There are some really interesting facts there that are really relevant to all of us.
I thought the end paragraph was particularly interesting how it said that only 21% of people in developing countries have access to the internet compared to the 71% of people in developed countries. Really shows the digital divide, doesn't it? And as we delve deeper into this information revolution this gap is sadly just going to increase.
I also thought it was interesting how 64% of specialists believe that the flow of information online will remain mostly free rather than falling under the control of powerful institutions. I like this optimistic view, I really hope its true! Does anyone have any ideas on whether it will be or not?
